The first step we had to do was to create a budget that my teacher explained to my class. We are receiving $10 an hour for working on a part-time job. I work 120 hours in a month. I work 1,560 hours in a year. We get $1,209 in a month and $14,508 in a year. That was our budget. Everyone had the same budget. 7% of the income goes to taxes. The next step was to list all the things you are going to be doing when you are 18 and you have to list the prices monthly and yearly. We are still living in our parents house when we are 18 (according to the project). These things we put are our expenses. Everyone had different expenses. Here is a chart that looked like my Expense and Budget Sheet.
